For this poster I wanted to make something quiet, beautiful, and representative of what’s at stake with this unique area of the world. The loon acts as a lone defender, a symbol of Minnesota and the people who are fighting to keep the Boundary Waters pristine, natural, and untouched by corporate interests. We need these people more than ever when there are so many places under attack from the shortsighted fools of the Trump administration.

I'm a designer and illustrator from the state of Wisconsin, land of cheese. Mmmm, I love cheese. I studied graphic design at the University of Wisconsin Stout and shortly after graduating moved myself to the fine city of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
