ABOUT THE ART: My art is frequently inspired by nature’s palette and celebrates the wondrous details of our natural world. These prints were created using a flatbed scanner as a camera, with images composed directly on its glass. I often capture objects whole, but also cut and arrange parts and pieces to create hybrids, patterns and mandalas. When each high-resolution scan is enlarged, minute details that would otherwise go unseen are exposed, including delightful textures, spores, pollens and insects.
