We're All MPLS 1

ABOUT THE ART
The artwork responds to Minneapolis’s recent ICE invasion: a loon—the state bird—cries in the foreground, against a frozen, unsettled landscape where a wildflower droops and fish lie lifeless. Each element reflects a climate pushed to extremes, transforming familiar icons of resilience and natural beauty into signals of fragility. Anchored by the phrase “We’re All MPLS,” the piece widens its scope beyond the city, insisting that what is unfolding here is not isolated—that environmental disruption in one place ripples outward, touching everyone, everywhere.
